Oprah Winfrey says she was raped by her cousin when being child

The famous American TV presenter Oprah Winfrey admitted that in her childhood she was raped several times by her 19-year-old cousin.

She said this in an episode of the series The Me You Can't See, which is released on the Apple TV + platform.

According to Winfrey, she kept the incident a secret for a long time and even now did not give the name of this person. The presenter noted that it is not safe for girls to live in a world full of men.

This was the first time a woman had suffered such violence. She said that when she was 14 years old, her uncle did the same to her. Then the girl became pregnant and gave birth to a child, but the baby died a few weeks after giving birth.
