Billy Porter stars as fairy godmother in new “Cinderella” movie, teaser released

The first teaser for the new film “Cinderella” has been released, starring Cuban-American actress and singer Camila Cabello as the leading actress. Billy Porter stars as the fairy godmother, and Idina Menzel plays the role of Cinderella’s stepmother.

According to the plot, Cinderella is an ambitious, forward-thinking woman who dreams about running a dress shop. The film’s writer and director Kay Cannon said her version will be “more relatable to what girls and young women in particular are going through.”

The film hits Amazon Prime Video on September 3.
