The home in Seattle where the late frontman of the rock band Nirvana Kurt Cobain committed suicide in April 1994 has found a new owner, The New York Post reports.

The new owner purchased the home in August 2020, but there was no coverage of the deal. The owner paid $7,050,000 — $450,000 less than the asking price. The current owner made the transaction through Washington Investments. There are no other details.

Made up of four bedrooms and five bathrooms, the home spans over 518 square meters, and property records show last renovations to the home were made in July.

Earlier, Kobain’s home in Aberdeen was recognized as a cultural heritage object. The musician lived there between 1968 and 1984. Aberdeen plans to open a museum in the home where there will be private field trips.
