Chanel limits purchase of their most popular handbags

Since this month, Chanel is changing its sales policy.

According to the Hypebeast edition, now clients of the fashion house can purchase only one Classic Flap Bag and Coco Handle per year. Restrictions will also apply to small leather goods - no more than two identical items can be bought per year. Although Chanel has already raised the prices of its most popular items three times this year, their bags are still very popular, Hypebeast reported.

Hermès is already working according to a similar scheme - each client of the fashion house can buy only two bags of the same model per year.
