Adele and Ed Sheeran are leaders in BRIT Awards nominations

British musicians Adele and Ed Sheeran became the leaders in the number of BRIT Awards nominations.

The award is considered the British equivalent of the Grammy in the United States. Artists received the largest number of nominations, four at once.

American artists Lil Nas X and singers Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift were nominated for the award in the foreign musician of the year category.
