Eminem holds record for number of gold and platinum singles

American rapper Eminem has become the record holder for the number of gold and platinum singles, Variety reports, citing The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In addition, the artist is one of only seven musicians in history whose albums have become diamond albums three times or more. Eminem has become one of the most successful artists in the United States in the history of music.
