Elon Musk becomes richest man on planet

Founder of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk topped Forbes magazine's annual ranking of the world's richest people.

The billionaire has displaced Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, who held the top spot for four years, RIA Novosti reported.

Musk's fortune increased for the year by 45% and reached 219 billion dollars. Bezos in the same period lost 6 billion and his fortune amounted to 171 billion dollars.
