Squid Game director reveals which characters will return in second season

Hwang Dong-hyuk, director of the popular series "Squid Game," revealed which characters will be appearing in season two, Collider reported.

Lee Jung-jae (main character Sung Ki Hoon, who won the challenge) and the Steward (Lee Byung-hun) will return to their roles.

"Squid Game" launched on Netflix last September and set the streaming service's all-time record of 111 million viewable hours in its first month. According to the plot, the characters take part in deadly games, fighting for a cash prize of 45.6 billion won.
