'How to Murder Your Husband' author found guilty of murdering husband

A Portland court in the US state of Oregon found writer Nancy Crampton Brophy guilty of murdering her husband Daniel. It took the jury eight hours to reach a verdict.

According to investigators, the author of the book How to Kill Your Husband decided to do this to get $ 1.4 million since the man insured his life for this amount. Prosecutors allege that Nancy shot the man while Daniel was preparing to give a lecture at the Oregon Culinary Institute.

Crampton Brophy, 71, has maintained her innocence.
