Elon Musk's fortune decreased by $16.4 billion in one day. It came amid reports of expected cuts at Tesla, PeopleTalk reported.

The businessman's shares fall with each announcement, so investors "really want" Musk to be "a little more restrained," analysts say.

His capital is currently estimated at $216.8 billion.
