Legendary cellist Mischa Maisky will perform in Yerevan

The legendary cellist Mischa Maisky will perform with the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia under the direction of conductor Sergey Smbatyan at the Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall on October 8 at 7:30 pm within the framework of the International Music Festival "Armenia".

The concert will include excerpts from Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Goldilocks" Opera-Suite, Adagio Variations for Cello and Orchestra by Ottorino Respighi and Rococo Variations for Cello and Orchestra by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The Armenia International Music Festival is organized by the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia and the European Endowment for Culture (EUFSC).
