Johnny Depp may return to 'Pirates of the Caribbean'

Disney is in talks with actor Johnny Depp to return to "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, thenews.com.pk reported.

According to insiders, the studio has offered Depp $300 million. Reportedly, the company contacted the actor before the lawsuits with his ex-wife Amber Heard. The star was offered to play Jack Sparrow in the sixth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" and in a series for Disney Plus about the young captain of the Black Pearl.

What I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character,” the source added. It is clarified that Depp has not yet agreed to their offer.
