Singer R Kelly's former manager Donnell Russell has been sentenced to 20 months in prison, NME reported.

The man pleaded guilty to harassment and stalking one of the musician's abuse victims.

The Justice Department charged him with using phone calls, emails and text messages to harass a victim. It is alleged that Russell also stalked the woman's mother in an attempt to prevent her from pressing charges against Kelly.

The manager also threatened that he would publish explicit photos of the victim unless she withdrew her lawsuit against the artist. All of this took place from November 2018 to February 2020.
