Avatar: The Way of the Water grosses $600 million worldwide

The sequel to Avatar continues to dominate the worldwide box office. Avatar: The Way of the Water passed the $600 million mark and surpassed Thor 4 and Batman on the list of the highest-grossing U.S. films of the year.

The film grossed $183 million at the domestic box office, while international territories brought the film $426.8 million. The main profitable markets, besides the U.S., remain China ($70.5 million), France ($37 million) and Korea ($32.1 million).
