Screaming Trees bassist Van Conner dies

Van Conner, the founder and bassist of the grunge band Screaming Trees, has passed away in the United States after a long battle with illness, The New York Post reported.

The musician's death was announced by Gary Lee Conner, his bandmate and brother, according to Public Service News.

Van Conner had been ill for a long time and had died of complications from pneumonia.
