The most passionate car collectors and car enthusiasts will gather for one of the most anticipated automotive events of the year. RM Sotheby's will hold its first auction on March 9 in Dubai, which will feature three of the most desirable cars in existence, reports Hypebeast.
Not only will dedicated collectors be able to admire the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, the 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR, and the 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie coupe, but they will also be able to bid on these exquisite cars and other lots for the chance to take home the coveted car.
2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, the super-rare open-top speedster, boasts 641 hp and a design inspired by the legendary 300 SLR racing car. A total of 75 models were produced.
One of only three ever built, the 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR features a 1,160hp V8 engine, advanced technology such as hollow carbon wheels, and innovative Koenigsegg Dihedral Synchro-Helix doors, making it an engineering masterpiece and a rare hypercar.
Finally, the 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé defies convention with its Formula 1-inspired design and Cosworth-developed V12 hybrid engine. Limited to just 150 units, this 160hp beast blurs the lines between road and track, offering owners the opportunity to experience unbridled driving pleasure.
In addition to these three stunning cars, other lots include famous classics and rare cars to suit every automotive taste.
RM Sotheby's strategic expansion into the EMEA region will undoubtedly bring new levels of visibility and appeal to Dubai. The historic auction itself will take place at the Concrete site on Alserkal Avenue in the Al Koz area.
RM Sotheby's Dubai is an iconic moment, showcasing the world's most exquisite collector cars amidst the city's vibrant artistic and architectural wonderland. Participants will be immersed in a fusion of innovation and history that opens a new chapter in the global automotive community.
