British actor of Armenian origin Cosmo Jarvis will play one of the main roles alongside Robert De Niro in Barry Levinson’s gangster drama Alto Knights, the Armenian Film Society reports.

Cosmo Jarvis, born Harrison Cosmo Krikorian Jarvis, currently stars in the historical drama series Shogun on Hulu and FX.

Alto Knights centers on Vito Genovese and Frank Costello—played by De Niro, a pair of Italian American crime lords who run two separate crime families. In 1957, Genovese attempted to kill Costello, who was eventually wounded and attempted to leave the Mafia.

Jarvis will play Vincent Gigante, also known as "Chin," who was the boss of the Genovese crime family in New York from 1981 to 2005.

The movie is scheduled for release on March 21, 2025.
