Louis Vuitton, in collaboration with the famous architect Frank Gehry, has introduced the translucent Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon De Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry watch.
The watch is presented in a transparent case with a width of 43.8 mm. The model takes aesthetic elements from the architecture of Louis Vuitton's Seoul office as well as the iconic Fondation Louis Vuitton building in Paris, both designed by Gehry.
The case, lugs, crown, and dial are made of sapphire, and Gehry's signature is engraved on the back of the case. The sapphire crystal that protects the dial was made and polished by hand to imitate the distinctive shapes of Gehry's architectural works. The heart of this watch is the LFTMM05.01, a hand-wound in-house movement entirely developed and assembled by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, certified by Poinçon de Genève.
The Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon De Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry, limited to five pieces, sells for $935,000.
