Jeff Bezos purchases another property on ‘Billionaire's Bunker’ island

11:19, April 4

One of the world's richest men, Jeff Bezos, has purchased yet another property on the exclusive Indian Creek Island in Florida, known as the Billionaire's Bunker.

Bezos' acquisitions began with the purchase of two mansions for a total of $147 million. Not stopping there, Bezos recently added a third item to his collection, worth $90 million.

The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home was purchased by Bezos in an off-market transaction. Property records show the home was last sold in 1998 for $2.5 million to banker Javier Holtz.

Bezos' latest real estate acquisitions are located near the homes of Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, as well as famous NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Indian Creek, located in one of the most expensive areas in the United States, has only 80 residences. Homeowners enjoy exclusive amenities including a private golf course and country club, highlighting the luxury lifestyle in the area.

According to Bloomberg, Bezos plans to demolish the first two properties to make way for a huge mansion. However, this plan has not been officially confirmed by Bezos himself.

Beyond luxury real estate, Bezos' move to Florida makes strategic sense as it coincides with the sale of approximately $8.5 billion in Amazon stock. Known for having no state income tax, Florida's tax environment offers significant tax advantages, especially for wealthy individuals making large transactions like Bezos.
