'Friends' script signed by iconic sitcom cast up for auction in honor of the late Matthew Perry

14:05, April 9

Fans of the iconic TV series Friends will have the chance to own a piece of the show's history and pay tribute to its late star, Matthew Perry.

Ollie Locke, one of the stars of the popular UK reality show Made in Chelsea, has revealed his plans to auction off the script for one of the Friends’ most iconic episodes, signed by all of its characters. We're talking about the episode where Rachel gives birth—the finale of the eighth season, consisting of two parts.

Ollie is auctioning off the script to raise funds for the Matthew Perry Foundation, who tragically died on October 28, 2023, by drowning in a hot tub at the age of 54.

The script is signed by all six main actors: Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.

The script is estimated at $6,000 to $10,000.

It will go under the hammer at Hanson Ross auction house in Royston, Hertfordshire, England on Friday. Several other Friends memorabilia will also be up for auction.

"The same auction includes a sonogram of Rachel's baby used in the same episode," said Amanda Butler, director of operations at Hanson Ross. “It was consigned by a seller in Scotland and is valued at $759-$1,000.”
