Khloe and Kim Kardashian are getting on each other's nerves these days, judging by the new trailer for their reality show The Kardashians. According to In Touch, citing a source, the fights between the two sisters become more toxic when the cameras are off.

“The genius of Kris Jenner is that she inflates real issues for the storyline,” an insider exclusively told In Touch. "So there's no doubt that the girls were told to turn up the tension for the camera, but the truth is that this feud is also very real."

Trailer for the fifth season of The Kardashians was released on May 8, and one of the most shocking moments was the obvious tension between Khloe, 39, and Kim, 43.

The source says Khloe, who has been single for three years since her split from Tristan Thompson, is bluntly telling her older sister that she finds her "desperate attempts to get a boyfriend pathetic."

“Kim was very offended by this and accused Khloe of giving up on herself ahead of time. She doesn't understand why Khloe is giving up dating and instead wants to spend all her time with the kids," the source explains. "Khloe, meanwhile, calls out Kim for not spending enough time with her kids, which is a very sensitive topic."

Khloe "takes care of Kim's kids a lot," but the insider says she's starting to get annoyed with Kim because she has to constantly be lectured about parenting by Khloe.

“But Khloe truly thinks Kim needs to stop focusing on herself and care about the kids a little more,” the source adds.

Meanwhile, older sister Kourtney Kardashian is "just watching it all" and is "relieved that this isn't her storyline."

"It's getting to the point where Kim and Khloe can barely stand to be in the same room, which is kind of sad."
