YEREVAN. – Monday was a festive day for numerous children in Armenia who suffer from cerebral palsy.
On that day, capital city Yerevan became the venue for a charity concert, whose entire proceeds will be used for the emergency surgery of children with disabilities.Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan, and Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan were the guests of honor at the event.
Poghosyan told NEWS.am STYLE that she underscores the holding of such events, and expressed the hope that the society’s discrimination against persons with disabilities will end one day.
Numerous famous Armenian recording artists were on hand at the concert, and they brought joy to the children with their performances.
