Cher postpones Dressed To Kill Tour dates due to 'acute viral infection'

Cher, 68, is one of the hardest working women in showbusiness.

The singer has been forced to cancel the opening dates from the second leg of her latest tour due to an 'acute viral infection.'

According to Daily Mail, the 68-year-old If I Could Turn Back Time singer was forced to reschedule shows in New York and New Hampshire due to her illness.

Cher, real name Cherilyn Sarkisian, was diagnosed with the infection at the weekend by doctors in Los Angeles, who ordered bed rest for several days. 

No further details were released about the I Got You Babe favourite's illness.

Cher has rescheduled the opening stops on the second leg of her Dressed to Kill Tour which were slated to take place this week in Albany, New York, and Manchester, New Hampshire.

The former will now take place on October 6 while the latter will happen the following day.

Fans can keep their tickets for the rescheduled dates or get a refund if unable to attend., while the rest of the tour is expected to stay the same.
