The tallest man in the world has again met with the shortest woman in the world. The meeting took place the other day in the US state of California, where the two had breakfast at a local establishment and took pictures together.

Sultan Kösen, 41, is in the Guinness World Records as the tallest living person, and Jyoti Amge, 30, is the shortest living woman in the world. Sultan is 2.5m tall. He was diagnosed with acromegaly, which is usually caused by a tumor of the pituitary gland. The tumor produces excessive amounts of growth hormone, which can lead to gigantism. Kösen stopped growing in 2011 after undergoing treatment at the University of Virginia Medical Center to control his growth hormone production.

Also, he broke the record for the largest hands of a living person; each of them is 28.49cm long.

Kösen is four times taller than Amge, who is just 60cm tall. She has achondroplasia, a rare form of dwarfism. After her 18th birthday on December 16, 2011, the Guinness World Records officially declared her the shortest woman in the world. She played Ma Petite in the movie American Horror Story: Freak Show, which premiered in 2014.

Kösen and Amge previously had met in January 2018 for a photoshoot in front of Egypt's pyramids of Giza.
