Warner Bros. presented the first trailer for Kevin Costner's massive new directorial work, Horizon: An American Saga, in which his son Hayes made his debut.

The actor-director's 15-year-old son plays a younger version of his unnamed character in this movie, which is the first part of a planned four-film quadrilogy. This movie will be Costner's fourth directorial work. Its plot centers on Costner's character.

The trailer gives a glimpse of Hayes' acting skills. At the beginning of the trailer, while the family is sleeping, the house is attacked and the wife and daughter are taken to safety through a tunnel under the house. But Hayes stays, telling his mother, "It's okay, I'll be with daddy." And while his mother protests, he closes the door on her.
