Kris Jenner is mourning the loss of her younger sister Karen Houghton, who died suddenly at the age of 65. The 68-year-old reality star took to Instagram to announce that her sister had died “unexpectedly” the day before.

Jenner shared a carousel of photos of herself and her sister together. It includes children's photographs, self-portraits, and moments from various family events. “Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, the kindest, the most sensitive, vulnerable and so funny."

Kris described her sister as someone who was grateful for her life and treasured not only her family and friends, but "especially her beautiful daughter."  “She occupies a huge part of my heart, and I cherish every memory of our life together. Karen's death is a reminder that life is so short and precious. We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you, my beautiful sister,” she concluded.
