Miu Miu has become the world’s most popular brand in the first quarter of 2024, reports Hypebeast. Prada took second place, according to the Lyst Index, a ranking of the most popular fashion brands and products published every quarter.
Searches for Miu Miu grew 8 percent in the first three months of this year, thanks in part to its recent show in Paris and its collaboration with New Balance. Among men in particular, searches increased by a whopping 88 percent. And Prada, despite the drop in ratings, still retained its high status, thanks to a stellar advertising campaign and new versions of its treasured handbags.
Loewe and Bottega Veneta hold steady in third and fourth place, respectively, while Saint Laurent entered the top five for the first time. Other brands on the rise include Balenciaga, which rose four places to No. 8 last quarter, and Valentino (No. 9), which has seen renewed interest following the recent announcement that Alessandro Michele will take over as creative director.
Conversely, Burberry dropped three positions to 12th place, and Diesel dropped four positions to 17th.
In terms of the most popular products, Miu Miu also tops the list, with its New Balance 530 SL sneakers, which sold out in a matter of hours.
