Justin Bieber has paid more than $80,000 in restitution to resolve a criminal misdemeanor vandalism charge filed after his neighbor’s home in Calabasas was egged, authorities said Monday. Authorities said the damage to Web mogul Jeff Schwartz's home totaled $20,000, which could have qualified him for a felony.
As part of the deal, Bieber was ordered to stay away from Schwartz. Bieber had previously been accused of spitting at the same neighbor, but was not prosecuted.
According to LA Times, the 20-year-old pop star’s attorney, Shawn Holley, said that she expects Bieber to complete those anger management classes by Feb. 10, 2015, along with five days of community service.
Holley was in court with prosecutors to give an update on Bieber’s probation for the act of vandalism last January.
