Where to go in Yerevan this week? (PHOTOS)

YEREVAN. – NEWS.am STYLE continues its weekly public notices regarding the noteworthy cultural events taking place in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

On Monday starting at 9pm, the Goght band will perform at Ulikhanyan Club. Admission is 2,000 drams.

On the same day and time, comedian and actor Sergey Danielyan’s autobiographical mono-presentation, entitled “How I became a man,” will get underway at Yerevan State Chamber Theater. Admission is 3,000 drams.

On Tuesday starting at 7pm, “Hover” State Chamber Choir of Armenia will perform at Naregatsi Art Institute. Admission is 2,000 and 3,000 drams.

On Wednesday at 7pm, a concert-meeting with composer and pianist Stepan Shakaryan will kickoff at Naregatsi Art Institute. Admission is free.

On the same day and time, Spanish singer and trumpet player Ytuvides Vílchez and Armenian pianist Anna Manukyan will give a joint concert at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall. Admission is from 1,000 to 2,000 drams.

On Thursday at 7pm, Italian pianist Gloria Campaner and the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia will give a joint concert along the lines of the 5th Khachaturian International Festival, and at Aram Khachaturian Grand Concert Hall. Admission is between 1,000 to 7,000 drams.


On the same day starting at 9։30pm, the Vida de Cuba Project will perform at Kami Club. Admission is 2,000 drams.

Yerevan Jazz Fest 2017 will kickoff also on the same day, and megastars Marcus Miller (USA) and Gonzalo Rubalcaba (Cuba) will visit Yerevan within the framework of this event. Starting at 7pm, Miller will perform at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.


On Saturday starting at 8am, Armenian jazzman and composer Gary Kesayan’s anniversary concert, together with the Gary Kesayan Jazz Quartet, will take place at Aram Khachaturian Grand Concert Hall. Admission is from 2,000 to 10,000 drams.


And on Sunday at 7pm, and along the lines of Yerevan Jazz Fest 2017, the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia, as well as several renowned jazz musicians will perform at Aram Khachaturian Grand Concert Hall.
