Araksya Karapetyan, an Emmy Award-winning host of Fox 11 America, referred to newspapers posted in Los Angeles that had Armenian-hating words written in them.
"Azerbaijan + Turkey + Pakistan + Israel = by God's will wipe Armenia off the map," the papers read.
The host spoke about this as part of her Good Day LA program and posted the report on her Instagram page, to which she wrote,"Denouncing hate speech: “wipe Armenia off the map.”
"Over the weekend, the community came together to raise awareness on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Artsakh in a large demonstration. Meanwhile, anti-Armenian flyers were posted on light poles throughout the city of Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hills Police Department is investigating and looking over surveillance footage to hold those responsible accountable."
The only road connecting Artsakh with the Republic of Armenia and the world has been closed for over a month and a half, allegedly by Azerbaijani environmentalists. All this caused a humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.
