Kristen Stewart comments on her controversial photo on Rolling Stone cover

12:03, February 20

Twilight star Kristen Stewart has commented on her photo on the cover of Rolling Stone, which has caused conflicting feelings among fans.

The 33-year-old actress appeared in a rather provocative look—in a naked vest and shorts—on the cover of the March issue of this American magazine about music and culture. While many of Stewart's fans loved this photo, more conservative commenters expressed their distaste for this cover.

“A woman's body forcing any type of sexuality onto you that isn't exclusively for straight men is uncomfortable, so I'm very happy with it,” Stewart said. The actress noted that she enjoyed exploring femininity and breaking traditional stereotypes. "It's okay to take different pictures and mix them up in ways that people aren't used to," she added.
Stewart will soon star in the romantic thriller Love Lies Blood, directed by Rose Glass.

The film follows gym manager Lou (Stewart) who falls in love with bodybuilder Jackie (Katie O'Brien) after their paths cross in Las Vegas. The couple has problems with Lou's father (Ed Harris), an arms dealer who runs a local crime gang.

Speaking about her new movie, Kristen Stewart, who identifies as bisexual, said she believes LGBT+ films should be made for the mainstream to push this agenda forward.
