"Today we commemorate the 1.5 million Armenians that died in 1915. Those who lost their lives included my great great grandmothers and grandfathers. My great grandparents were found in the desert and raised as orphans in an American orphanage. With the crises going on presently in Armenia with the imminent threat of war by the Genocide perpetrators...it is NOW more important than ever to share our stories. The day we stop telling people about what happened in 1915 and now 2020, 2023 will be the day the enemy has won. My goal in this life is to keep amplifying our stories and culture.
