Nicolas Cage's son, Weston Cage, has been accused of beating his mother, Christina Fulton. Sources tell TMZ that Weston was named as a suspect in a battery report stemming from an incident that occurred at Fulton's Los Angeles home.

The alleged fight between mother and son began with a verbal altercation and then quickly escalated into physical violence, a source said.

Emergency services were called, but the woman was not taken to the hospital.

Law enforcement agencies are determining whether the incident will be considered a serious crime.

But no arrests were made because Weston, 33, had fled by the time police officers arrived at the scene.

Fulton denied the affray allegations and requested confidentiality. She was photographed Sunday at a parking meter, with bruises all over her face.
