Khloe Kardashian is still madly in love with Tristan Thompson, even though he keeps her in the “friend zone,” In Touch reports, citing an insider.

“Khloe has rejected a lot of men. She’s tried dating, but she just can’t connect with anyone the way she does with Tristan,” the source noted.

The reality star and her former NBA beau, 33, first met in 2016. They’ve been through some rough times over the past eight years. The couple has two children together.

Following multiple reports of cheating, Khloe and Tristan first split in 2019. Rumors of the couple getting back together began in late 2021, but it was revealed that Tristan got another woman pregnant while he was with Khloe. In June 2022, they announced they were expecting another child via surrogate, who was born in August, meaning the baby was likely conceived before Tristan’s cheating scandal broke.

“As much pain as he’s caused her, and as much as she denies that she still has romantic feelings for him, the fact is she just can’t get over him,” the source adds. “Everyone around her knows she wants them to live happily ever after, but Tristan isn’t really ready at this point. He respects her and knows not to bring girls over because it upsets her, but they’re not in a committed relationship, so he’s free to do what he wants.”
