Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially separating, according to a Los Angeles Superior Court filing, CNN reports.

Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles yesterday, which coincided with the anniversary of their 2022 Riseborough wedding.

Their split marks the latest twist in the two superstars’ love story, which has been in the spotlight for decades.

Lopez and Affleck’s marriage comes more than 20 years after they first met on the set of the comedy Gigli, where they played criminals stuck at work together and struck up a genuine friendship that eventually blossomed into a relationship.

A source tells PEOPLE that Lopez is “tired of waiting.” “She tried so hard to make this work and is heartbroken,” the source adds. “The kids are the top priority, as they always have been.” Another insider close to Lopez said the star is ready to "move on." "She's very disappointed and upset, but Ben hasn't given her any indication that he wants to save their marriage," the insider says.
