Former US President John F. Kennedy had an affair with a man, The Daily Mail claims.
According to the paper, the late president had an affair with Kirk LeMoyne Billings, with whom he attended an elite boys' boarding school in Connecticut.
For Lem, it was practically love at first sight. Jack Kennedy was everything he was not: charismatic, confident, effortlessly popular—not just with other students, but with girls and women.

At least at first, Jack didn't realize that Lem had romantic feelings for him. But at some point in their friendship, Lem confessed his desires to Jack in a message scribbled on toilet paper. The note has been lost to history, but Jack's written response remains. "Please don't write me any more on toilet paper," Kennedy replied. "I'm not that kind of boy."
But the realization that his new best friend was gay didn't stop Kennedy from maintaining a friendship with Lem—and beyond.
Lem became a regular at Kennedy's famous Cape Cod estate and a constant shadow of Jack. Their classmate, Rip Horton, witnessed Lem's total slavery.

As Horton told Kennedy biographer Nigel Hamilton, "In Lem, Jack had found a slave for life. He did Jack's laundry. Late at night, he'd run out in the cold to buy pizza. Jack always had a bad back, and Lem became his unpaid masseur, a job he enjoyed."
And, as Lem claimed after Kennedy was assassinated, he often performed oral sex on Jack.
But part of Kennedy seemed to remain in denial about Lem's sexual orientation.
Among the voluminous correspondence between them—which Billings kept despite Jack’s admonition at the end of most of the letters to “burn this letter”—were vivid tales of sexual conquests and masturbation.
When Jack came up with the idea that they should lose their virginity together, Billings agreed. They went to a New York brothel. Jack insisted that they take the same prostitute. It’s unclear whether the threesome worked, but “Billings and Jack returned in a terrible panic over [venereal disease]. They went to the hospital and got medicine and creams.”

Jack’s Choate album, housed in his presidential library in Boston, is full of photographs of Lem, or the two of them together.
Lem, of course, would never leave Jack—not even when the beautiful young Jacqueline Bouvier came along.

At the very beginning of their courtship in 1952, Jackie knew two things: she wanted to marry Jack Kennedy, and that meant accepting Lem Billings and entering into a love triangle.
Did Jackie know that her future husband was intimate with Lem? That Jack and Lem joked about having a child? If so, she never said anything about it.
