Fans of Nevermore Academy’s most delightfully morbid student can rejoice: Netflix has officially dropped the trailer for Wednesday Season 2, starring Jenna Ortega. The new footage promises a darker, more horror-centric turn for the hit series, moving away from romantic subplots to focus on new mysteries, family dynamics, and a terrifying prophecy. The highly anticipated season will be released in two parts, with Part 1 arriving on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 following on September 3, 2025, Hypebeast writes.

The trailer immediately immerses viewers back into Wednesday Addams’ gothic world, showcasing her return to Nevermore Academy. However, this isn’t a peaceful re-entry. Wednesday struggles with unwanted fame after saving the school in Season 1, even joking about setting bear traps for obsessive fans. The core of the new season’s plot is unveiled as Wednesday has a disturbing psychic vision: her best friend and roommate, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers), will die, and Wednesday believes she is somehow responsible. This chilling premonition sets Wednesday on a desperate mission to save Enid, vowing to “die trying.”
