Brigitte Macron to present “scientific and photographic evidence” in court that she is a woman

10:17, September 19

Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron are set to present photographic evidence in an American court proving that the French First Lady has always been a woman, reports the Daily Mail.

The case arises from a defamation lawsuit against American conservative TV host Candace Owens, who spread rumors claiming that Madame Macron was allegedly born male.

The French president’s lawyer, Tom Clare, stated on the BBC podcast Fame Under Fire that his clients are ready to confirm the falsity of these claims “with both general and concrete evidence.”

According to Clare, the court will see both scientific expert reports and photographs of Brigitte Macron during her pregnancies and with her children.

“It is incredibly humiliating to have to prove the obvious in this way. But Brigitte is willing to do it to put an end to this story once and for all,” Clare said.

Macron called the allegations “extremely offensive” and acknowledged that the conspiracy theory has even become a distraction for the president himself.

The rumors that the French First Lady is allegedly a man named Jean-Michel Tronier (her brother’s name) originated in 2021 in French far-right media and later spread across social networks. Candace Owens, who has millions of followers, actively picked up the story.

The Macrons filed their lawsuit in July in Delaware state court. In a 218-page complaint, they accused Owens of conducting a “baseless, defamatory, and absurd campaign of global humiliation.”

“We gave her the chance to retract these statements, but she continued to repeat them. Now, the only option is court,” the couple said in a joint statement.

Owens, in turn, claimed she was relying on the “investigation” of French blogger Natasha Rey, although French courts have already ruled these allegations as defamatory.
