The Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani presented its final collection personally overseen by the brand’s founder and creative genius, Giorgio Armani, on Sunday. Held at the Brera Art Museum in central Milan, the show was more than a fashion presentation—it was a heartfelt tribute to the legendary designer, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 91.
The event drew numerous celebrities, including Richard Gere, Cate Blanchett, and director Spike Lee. Models walked beneath the museum’s arches in flowing, ethereal garments, accompanied by a live performance from pianist Ludovico Einaudi. The collection, titled Pantelleria, Milan, featured a serene color palette ranging from grey to deep blue and dark green, honoring two locations close to Armani’s heart.
Representatives of the house noted that the final collection reflects the designer’s signature style while marking the end of a creative cycle, opening the way for new directions. The show concluded with a solo walk by one of Armani’s favorite models, Agnese Zogla, wearing an elegant blue dress. In the finale, Armani’s niece Silvana Armani and his lifelong business partner Leo Del’Orco—who lead the women’s and men’s lines, respectively—took to the runway, receiving warm applause from the audience.
