Under the creative direction of Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli once again proved that modern eccentricity can be both daring and sophisticated. The Spring/Summer 2026 show, held at the Centre Pompidou, showcased the “Dancer in the Dark” collection, where every detail balances architectural precision with fluid movement, bringing Elsa Schiaparelli’s surrealist legacy to life.

The runway featured Kendall Jenner and Alex Consani, while Rosalía joined Kylie Jenner in the front row. Roseberry skillfully fuses traditional haute couture techniques with contemporary pop culture: patent leather hats shaped like eggshells, sculptural “fingers” emerging from clutches, and gilded tassels weighing down two-piece ensembles create a theatrical effect, yet feel meticulously considered.

The collection navigates a fine line between restraint and freedom. Sheer black dresses barely drape the body, enhanced with golden threads and crystals, while lace accents and bold minimalist details accentuate sensuality. Kendall Jenner pushed boundaries with a daring minimalist look, almost fully nude, yet unmistakably Schiaparelli.

Roseberry expertly plays with contrasts — heaviness and lightness, rigidity and flow, graphic shapes and sculptural forms.

Each piece is crafted with precision, and some prêt-à-porter looks verge on demi-couture. This duality makes the show unforgettable: Schiaparelli women embody a pursuit of perfection, even when garments appear to peel, deform, or play with material in audacious ways.

Spring/Summer 2026 is more than fashion — it’s theater, emotion, and a celebration of Roseberry’s visionary artistry, where surrealism and seduction walk hand in hand.
