French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin brings his provocative aesthetic to the mass market with a new capsule collection for Zara, reports Hypebeast.

The line fuses the energy of New York with Saint Sernin’s signature nostalgic style, recalling the glamorous yet effortless fashion of the ’80s and ’90s, the formative years of the designer. The collaboration features his hallmark structural details, graphic motifs, and bold silhouettes — from leather trousers to a black sheer dress with a leather bodice — now accessible to Zara’s global audience.

“We created my vision of the perfect wardrobe: pieces of incredible quality that I want to wear, that I want my friends to wear, and that I want everyone to wear!” said Saint Sernin. “The most exciting part of this collection is how versatile it is. Through Zara, people all over the world will be able to experience the world of Ludovic de Saint Sernin.”

The campaign was shot by Gordon von Steiner, capturing the downtown Manhattan vibe. It stars iconic models Alex Consani and Amelia Gray, longtime collaborators of Saint Sernin, alongside the designer himself.

The collection will be available online and in select Zara stores worldwide starting November 17.
