Home decor enthusiasts on social media are fully embracing the nostalgic aesthetic of American fashion brand Ralph Lauren this holiday season6 reports The Post.
According to Fortune, searches for the term “Ralph Lauren Christmas” on TikTok and Instagram have surged more than 600% compared to last year. Etsy searches are up over 180%, and Google Trends reports “unprecedented growth” in interest.
“This search trajectory suggests the trend has moved beyond niche interest into mainstream holiday planning,” said Chase Varga, marketing director at ListenFirst.
The Ralph Lauren aesthetic isn’t just your typical holiday colors and patterns. It’s a more sophisticated take on classic seasonal decor: deep winter tones, traditional plaids, plush velvet fabrics, and shimmering gold accents create the feeling of a true winter holiday.
To recreate the Ralph Lauren holiday style, start with red tartan—a classic Scottish plaid with symmetrical stripes intersecting at right angles.
The color palette should be rich and elegant: dark green, burgundy, navy, and deep reds work best.
Details matter: brass accents like frames or candlesticks add warmth and a lived-in feel. Vintage decor, antique figurines, hand-painted trinkets, classic nutcrackers, or glassware reminiscent of grandma’s house all reinforce that “only-for-the-selected” vibe.
And of course, don’t forget Ralph Lauren’s iconic bear motif. Ornaments, pillows, blankets, or a teddy bear on the couch can add that signature festive charm.
The “Ralph Lauren Christmas” trend blends nostalgia with modern American elegance, turning your home into a stylish and cozy holiday retreat.
