Melania Trump unveiled the 2025 White House Christmas decorations on Monday, revealing a far more traditional, toned-down style than the bizarre displays that once made her a meme. Now, as she steps back into public view with an upcoming Amazon documentary and her own new production company, Trump has opted for safer, calmer holiday visuals. This year’s theme, “Home is where the heart is,” emphasizes patriotism and family, with red, white and blue ornaments, state-themed decorations, and a “Be Best” butterfly display.

The overall look is more restrained than both her past displays and the gold-heavy decor favored by President Trump. Aside from an abundance of butterflies and Lego portraits of Donald Trump and George Washington, the decorations are largely traditional—seemingly designed to avoid controversy and signal a new, gentler public image.
