Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are continuing what has become a very visible romantic world tour. After stops in Canada, Santa Barbara, and a recent birthday celebration for the singer in Paris, the pair have now made their way to Tokyo.

Paparazzi captured Perry and the former Canadian prime minister strolling through the popular Asakusa district. Both opted for laid-back looks: Perry wore a beige monochrome outfit — cargo pants, a baseball cap, Adidas sneakers, and a brown leather jacket. She completed the look with a face mask for added privacy. Trudeau chose jeans, a black jacket, and, like Katy, Adidas sneakers. The couple held hands and looked perfectly in sync.

They spent the evening at Asakusa Sumo Stable Annex — a well-known spot that combines traditional Japanese dining with live sumo performances.

Perry and Trudeau’s romance has been the subject of discussion since the summer, when they were first spotted together in Montreal. Warm photos aboard Perry’s yacht in Santa Barbara followed, and in October the two made their first official public appearance in Paris at the Crazy Horse cabaret for Perry’s birthday.

For Perry, this marks her first relationship since ending her nine-year story with Orlando Bloom, with whom she continues to co-parent their daughter Daisy. Trudeau is also a father of three children from his marriage to Sophie Grégoire, with whom he finalized a divorce in 2023.
