New architectural details have emerged for Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City, a massive $8.2 billion development that will transform 10 million square feet of Dubai’s Meydan district into a luxury urban ecosystem inspired by the brand’s iconic cars.
The centerpiece of the project will be the 341-meter Vision Iconic tower, surrounded by 11 staggered buildings that gradually decrease in height as they extend outward. This asymmetrical layout creates a “spreading” skyline where each building retains its own identity without getting lost in the overall panorama.
The design directly borrows from Mercedes-Benz aesthetics. Horizontal podiums echo the brand’s signature grille, while silver and chrome accents make the facades look as if they just rolled off the factory line. The master plan is intended to mimic a car’s layout, with a central “console” area housing the main functions and the surrounding towers representing different components.
Each of the 12 towers will be named after a Mercedes-Benz concept vehicle, including Vision One-Eleven, Vision Mercedes Simplex, Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, and Vision AVTR.
Inside the 13,000 apartments, the Sensual Purity design philosophy—typical of Mercedes-Benz interiors—will be applied. Black and silver will form the base palette, while wood and leather will add warmth and texture. Mercedes-Benz graphic elements will appear throughout the residences to constantly remind residents which world they live in.
The complex will also include sports and wellness facilities, as well as retail spaces. Its location offers direct views of the Burj Khalifa, positioning it among Dubai’s most iconic landmarks.
Prices start at $4.3 million for studios, $7 million for one-bedroom units, $8 million for two-bedroom apartments, and $13 million for three-bedroom homes. The development is aimed at both owner-occupiers and investors seeking long-term appreciation.
