Pharrell Williams reinvents Louis Vuitton

22:34, January 22

In his debut menswear collection for Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2026 season, creative director Pharrell Williams took a surprising turn away from the brand’s usual spectacle, presenting a show with a more intimate, “home-like” atmosphere. Even the invitation was unconventional: instead of standard cards, guests received a pair of leather slippers—symbolizing that comfort is at the heart of the collection, meticulously designed down to the smallest detail, reports Hypebeast.

Pharrell seems to suggest that the new era of Louis Vuitton is about “invisible” luxury and quiet elegance, where quality matters more than branding.

A Show Set in a Future Home

The scale of his vision unfolded in an unusual setting: a glass modular house called DROPHAUS, created in collaboration with the design firm NOT A HOTEL. The company, known for its elite Japanese residences, helped realize a vision of future living where function, craftsmanship, and human needs take center stage. The house featured furniture from the HOMEWORK collection—intentionally designed with “ten percent imperfection” to make the space feel alive and authentic.

According to the brand, Pharrell builds design “from scratch, without rules,” and this philosophy is evident throughout. The interior featured Paulin furniture and Devon Ojas acoustics, followed by a runway show that reimagined the classic modern man’s wardrobe.

Suiting Reimagined

The suit-and-tie trend remains relevant, but Pharrell transforms it into a relaxed, everyday style. The runway was dominated by double-breasted suits and leather jackets in a calm palette of earthy tones—from beige to deep green and khaki.

Instead of heavy denim, the designer focused on perfectly tailored trousers and standout outerwear, including crocodile leather bombers.

The New Luxury

In the end, Pharrell proved that true luxury isn’t loud logos, but comfort, craftsmanship, and flawless tailoring. The collection feels like the kind of wardrobe you want to wear every day while still feeling undeniably high-status.
