Givenchy is ushering in a new chapter of the It-bag era with “The Snatch” — a bag that feels more like a piece of design than a conventional accessory. Sculptural, feminine and distinctly “constructed,” this model is made to draw attention and complete any look.

Described as an “exploration of intimacy,” the bag fits perfectly into Sarah Burton’s aesthetic, where shapes are designed to hug the body and accentuate the silhouette. Its lines evoke the cinch of a jacket, the curve of a waist, or the lift of perfectly fitted lingerie. Crafted from soft leather that still holds its shape, the bag stretches and tightens to create a subtle sculptural tension.

The exterior is made from soft calfskin with a natural grain, combining delicacy with durability. Inside, a contrasting nappa lining provides a burst of bright colour that appears the moment the zipper is opened. The bag’s exterior is balanced by metallic hardware: a chain, angular zips, and slim metal feet add a sharp but understated edge to the silhouette. “The Snatch” will be available in three sizes and a wide palette of shades — from deep black, eggplant, dark brown, and beige to bold pink, red, and cream, as well as a graphic black-and-white two-tone option.
