Luxury isn’t just for humans anymore—some ultra-wealthy dog owners are now spending millions on sparkling jewelry for their four-legged companions. The trend, already booming on the East Coast, is prompting jewelers to set their sights on California as the next hot market.
18-karat gold collars with D-grade diamonds—the highest quality in the world—have become the ultimate status symbol for pampered pups, reports The Post.

“Prices start at $1,435 and can reach $150,000, with custom designs exceeding $1 million,” says Racheli Waters Shamir, owner of Manhattan’s boutique The D Diamond New York.
One particularly exclusive piece is the Heart Bone Collar, available only to returning clients who have purchased other diamond pieces for their dogs.

Poodle, golden retriever, bulldog, and Chihuahua owners flock to the Manhattan showroom to try on collars for their furry friends, eager to showcase their pets in full luxury.

“The price doesn’t scare me,” says Monica, who spent thousands on a diamond collar for her poodle, Harry. “Your dog is family—a legacy you pass down through generations.”

With demand growing, Racheli Waters Shamir is considering a West Coast expansion. “California is perfect for luxury. I already have several clients there,” she adds.

Dog fashion has officially entered a new era: diamonds, gold, and personalized style are no longer limited to humans—they’re now available for four-legged family members too.
