Hillary Clinton’s team demanded “perfect lighting” and custom background for Epstein hearing

12:28, March 4

Hillary Clinton’s team reportedly insisted on “beautiful lighting” and a custom blue panel backdrop for her testimony before the oversight committee in the Jeffrey Epstein case, aiming to avoid any impression that the former Secretary of State was being held “hostage,” according to the New York Post.

Clinton’s staff meticulously controlled every visual detail of her appearance, ensuring she looked her best while giving testimony related to the late pedophile.

Preparation and Custom Background

According to sources, before the hearing at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center in New York, one of Clinton’s assistants occupied her seat to test lighting, camera angles, and even the placement of white tablecloths to soften facial shadows.

The blue backdrop was designed by a local vendor in seven hours after Clinton’s team deemed black curtains inappropriate. Many of these adjustments also facilitated the following day’s questioning of her husband, Bill Clinton.

A spokesperson for Hillary emphasized that the former Secretary of State maintained full control of the proceedings, noting that “focusing on tablecloths is just a distraction from the facts.”

Tense Moments During Testimony

On the day of the hearing, Clinton briefly threatened to walk out after Rep. Lauren Boebert snapped a photo, violating committee rules. “If you do that, I’m done, I’m done,” Clinton reportedly exclaimed after one of her lawyers complained about the photo. Slamming the table, she added, “You can hold me in contempt all you want!”

Ultimately, Clinton returned to answer questions, displaying both her determination and poise. Committee-released video shows her in a bright blue suit engaging in heated exchanges with lawmakers during the testimony.
