Armenian winemakers are pouring their passion into one of Asia’s largest food and beverage trade shows—FOODEX Japan 2026, held in Tokyo from March 10–13.

This year, Armenia is showcased through a dedicated national pavilion featuring 19 wineries, including the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, Hin Areni, Gevorkian Winery, Van Ardi, Voskevaz, Manukyan Wine Brandy Factory, Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory, as well as Koor, Stork Wines, Savar Wines, and other local producers.

Armenia’s presence at FOODEX has grown significantly compared to last year: in 2025, around ten Armenian brands participated, while in 2026, that number nearly doubled.

FOODEX Japan is considered one of Asia’s top international food industry events, attracting more than 3,000 companies from over 70 countries. Participants include food and beverage producers, wineries, importers, distributors, and representatives from the restaurant sector.

Events like FOODEX provide Armenian winemakers with a platform to introduce their products to new markets, establish business connections, and expand international partnerships.

Earlier in February 2026, Armenian wineries also showcased their offerings at Wine Paris, one of Europe’s premier wine industry exhibitions, highlighting the country’s growing global footprint in the world of wine.
